Accessories crafted from “Higo Mari,” a traditional handicraft of Kumamoto. These pieces use rice husks as a core and feature cotton threads dyed with natural vegetable dyes. The gentle, natural colors and the masterful handiwork are truly superb. They are also a perfect match for Japanese attire.

Watermelon Spinning Top & Spicy Mustard Lotus Root Spinning Top
These unique “umbrella-style” spinning tops are crafted by Masahiko Iseri, the creator of “Hikoichi-koma,” a traditional folk toy passed down in the Yatsushiro region. They are modeled after Kumamoto’s famous local specialties: Karashi Renkon (spicy mustard lotus root) and Ueki watermelons.

Liqueur Marron
A butter cake with a recipe that has remained unchanged since the shop’s founding in 1962 as Kumamoto’s very first Western-style confectionery. The rich liqueur soaked into the sponge provides a sophisticated, adult flavor. The delicious chestnuts with their inner skins (shibukawa-maron), grown right here in Kumamoto Prefecture, are also excellent.
